Recruitment Terms and Conditions

YLFM’s role

YLFM runs an introduction service. We publish opportunities, help people and businesses find each other, and may help with shortlisting, messages or introductions. Each side decides whether the other is a good fit and whether to go ahead.

Jobs and other work

The trader and candidate discuss the role, assess whether it suits them and agree the terms directly. Any employment contract or other work agreement is between the hiring business and the person it hires. The hiring business is responsible for the hiring decision, pay, supervision and its checks as an employer. Applying or registering gives you the chance to be considered for work.

Franchise and market operator opportunities

The business offering the opportunity and the prospective operator assess each other and decide whether the arrangement suits them. They should check the rights to use the brand and products, understand the costs and responsibilities, and agree the terms directly before committing. Any franchise, licence, stock supply or trial agreement is between those parties. They are responsible for carrying out the agreement and dealing with any issues that arise under it.

YLFM’s market booking and pitch rules apply separately. Any legal rights or duties that apply to YLFM or to either party continue to apply.

Your application and CV

Give accurate information and upload a CV you are entitled to share. Please leave out your full home address, identity document numbers and right-to-work share codes.

By submitting the form, you agree that YLFM can review your information and show traders an anonymous profile. If you apply for a vacancy, the profile goes to the trader advertising it. If you register for work, active YLFM traders can see it. Your CV, email and written application answers stay with YLFM. If a trader contacts you through a vacancy, the two of you can exchange messages through a private YLFM conversation. We’ll agree with you before sharing personal details for hiring checks.

Right to work and withdrawal

The hiring business checks your right to work before employment starts. You can withdraw your submission using the private link in your confirmation email, or contact us for help.
